i'm looking to upgrade the stock (: ) headlights that are in my '85 325e. xenon is what i would like, but any suggestions? i see hella should be considered too?
From what I know, you need Xenon projectors as well for a Xenon upgrade, not just the xenon/hid kits sold on ebay.. Are you planning to go through this process?
i'll do whatever i have to do. like i said i think it's the stock headlights in there and i'll get whatever i have to to install either xenon's or hella
youd have to buy igniters, and the whole conversion kit as well as projector headlights to use HID's.
the headlights will likely run you $50-$300 and the 9006 hid kit will be another $300-$700.
i'd upgrade to just the projectors used in the newer cars first with the normal halogen light and go from there. the projectors are a BIG difference compared to the older e30's which dont have it.
i got the projectors. go with Hella Ellipsoid projectors. I personally like the euro ellipsoid head lights with the smile at the bottom.
its a big difference from stock sealed bulb.
