Headlight issue

I have an 88 325i vert and my low beam lights weren't working but my high beams were. I checked the fuses and they were fine so I figured it was the relay so I decided to swap my high and low relays around. My lights worked but they were sort of backwards. My low beam lights stay on whenever the switch is pushed in and they turn off whenever I pull it back all the way.

lights

Umm, did you check low beam bulbs??. I've also had a problem with fog light switch/relay causing low beam problems. I'd have to check relay scematics, but I think the relays are set up differently, reason why works backwards now.

Did you fix your problem? Check your fog lights also (relays, fuses, and bulbs.) I was running my fog lamps all the time with my low beams and it ended up burning out the relay twice before I realized what the problem was.
