Hey guys,

I had to tear apart my car because of a serious wiring harness melt-down. Check out the pics... it was a mess. But I got almost everything back in shape now. The problem is I have a 92 e36 and the wiring harness I put in came out of a 94... the issue with that is the 92 wiring harness controls the windows and sunroof with a relais under the steering column vs. the 94 which requires a body controle module unit which sits under the clove compartment... (which is a good thing actually because the relais was prone to go bad all the time), however I don't have the module.

Does anybody know where I can get that module from without paying a million dollars at the dealership?

try one of these yards. There has to be one in your local area. Hope this helps you out. PS you realise that you posted this on the E30 group, where most of us have a simple electrical system in comparison to that nightmare.

Holy crap.
Nice rims.

Sorry that doesn't actually contribute anything.
