guage problems

hi everyone I am new to euros and i just got my first BMW its 1990 325i only thing is though when I start the car all my gauges come up work and zero out and don't work after that except for my speedometer and I was wondering if anyone might know what could cause this or if they have had the same problem and know how to fix it. any help would be greatly appreciated

Have you checked the fuse box?

which fuse would it be i have checked all the ones that are under the hood but i dont have a fuse layout diagram

The fuses should have open tops, making any blown fuse easy to pick out as missing the connection across the top to each contact plug.

i have already replaced any blown fuses that i could see that were blown from the top
