Yo dudes, here's one for ya.... Still looking for ways to mod up me beemer, I've decided the next phase is to go under the hood for a spot of painting! I have an artist lined up (the missus!!!) and was wondering if the paints I intend to use are safe, ie: won't cause a fire!! The area I am going to paint is the cylinder head and for the main part I have a specialist safe paint. For the intricate parts I have "Humbrol" enamel paints. Are these safe to use? There must be some of you that have done this before, what did you use? I don't wanna send my beemer up in flames after all I've spent on her!!!!!!! Talking of which......as we speak 2 sets of "M" Tech seat pins are on their way and coming up soon will be the chrome "M" Tech handbrake lever, leather handbrake gator and "M" Tech chrome illuminated gear knob.... SORTED!!!! Back to the original question tho, I would appreciate your advice dudes.
