Hey all, just wanted to say WHAT'S UP from a different country! I have to say, the e30 is a popular model (if you can find one that isn't COMPLETELY destroyed because traffic here BLOWS!) in the Philippines. I saw a BEAUTIFUL Arctisblau 325i with ducktail spoiler and nice wheels (only saw it at a stoplight) but I saw that it was for sale... Only 90,000 Peso's! Divide by about 52 for a dollar conversion... $1730! The body was SHARP, you can tell that there are some differences in the styling for international models or something... the edges of the passenger compartment (along the top of the A and C Pillars) were more rounded. This was minor, but noticeable for sure. Sounded mean too, as it drove off, looked like a stainless exhaust, or at least stainless muffler on it. Throaty without sounding like a rice rocket fart can!
IF ONLY I felt like spending about 5 times the total purchase price to get it export ready! Oh well!

Yeah, my "professional obligations" to the "family" mandate that I make an appearance! LOL
Actually, I am here for business with Big Blue, managing one of our call centers for Philips Magnavox. It is a helluva country! The people are SUPER nice, a LOT of the women are HOTTT! I would NOT be able to be a car guy here... The traffic BLOWS MY MIND. There ARE lanes, but NO ONE seems to realize what they are used for... There are usually 2 cars in each lane, and another car driving OVER the stripes, then there are 20 or 30 motorcycles, busses and "Jeepney's" all fighting to be exactly where you are! You could NOT keep a car in good shape here for long! Or keep your hair for that matter! It is INSANE!

Unfortunately, I was only there for work, and only for a few weeks. I BEGGED for them to let me stay on full time as a consultant, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Any which way, I NEED to get back there, I went to Corregidor this last time, which means the next time, I am spending a weekend in Boracay!!!! Hopefully with some sweet little Pinay!
