What does that roughly translate into for 1/4 mile?

Silverhks is on a distinguished road
8.90 is a very respectable time for an 1/8 mile. Most V-8s will not run that stock.
For future referance anything under ~9.3 is respectable, not fast but will surprise you.

I know, I know 1/8 mile tracks are no fun but the nearest 1/4 is 2.5 hrs away :

the H series was a Prelude/Accord engine only if I recall (I am a recovering Rice-o-holic myself!) Without beefed up front suspension, it was too heavy and negatively affected the handling of the civic.
