Is it good to drive my car like this?

tyro2001 1st Gear Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: MASS Car: Posts: 283 Photos:	today i was driving my car on the highway around 70-80MPH at around 4-5 thousand RPM, my car only has 3 gears ( its automatic) so on the 3rd gear the engine sounds loud because it at a high RPM to be able to go 80MPH. the the engine take going around 4500RPM for a while with gettin problems or could the engine handle it and im just over reacting? i have a 84 318i with the m10 engine thanks
