Fuses blowing

Okay so on my 85 325e, the previous owner put a new stereo in, and redid all the wiring. But now, if I turn on the radio, then my headlights, the rear lights/license plate lights fuse blows. Under the dash, the acc wire from the radio is spliced to an unknown green wire. Any ideas?

Wired-up wrong... The connector on the Head Unit needs a wire re-routing as it must be earthing/grounding...

Definitely sounds like faulty wiring. Has it always done this? Maybe have it looked at by a BMW dealer or stereo equipment specialist.
