Fuse Keeps On Blowing Off

Since a couple of days, Fuse No 10 which mainly controls the following:

Seatbelt Warning
Service interval indicator
Tachometer/Fuel Economy Gauges
Gauges/Indicators
Brake Warning System
Back Up Lights
On-Board Computer
Injection Electronics
Active Check Control

The fuse being a 7.5A Fuse keeps on blowing off everytime being replaced by a new one.

I have tried looking for the electrical diagram on the net so as to trace where the problem could be coming from but in vain.

Could anyone PLEASE HELP !!!!

This indicates a short circuit on any of the mentioned cirduits. I'd go first and check on the back up lights, injection electronics and then the seatbelts. To confirm it is nothing of the gauges u can simply detach the instrument cluster and check if it will still blow out or not.

OK, i had the same problem and i was getting really pissed, so i just put in a 10 instead of a 7.5. haven't had any problems since

Try pulling your shift boot up and then find the wire in there for the reverse light switch. Try to move the wire around so it has some slack going through the boot.

I did this with mine and it solved the problem.

i believe the tach back lights, etc. are connected with the licence plate lights and the sidemarkers, check all of those since there may be come short... when my tach backlights went out, the licence plate as well as the sidemarkers stopped lighting....
