Fuel hoses?

I have an 85 318i. My car is lurching as i accelerate and is lacking power. Deos anyone have any experience with anything like this? One thought i have had is that maybe my old worn out and cracked fuel hoses under the hood may be causing it. Its a long shot. But regardelss i would like to replace them. Does anyone know what kind/size hose i need? Many sites have different ones, and i dont know if i need some of each or if they are for different cars.
Thanks.

Make sure that you get fuel injection line. Your local parts store should have it in stock.

OK, will the parts store just have the size i need in their computer system you think? Oh and i figured the acceleration problem out. The timing was too low, i increased it and its running fine now, the timing is a tad high but i will fix that when i have the chance to use my timing gun.

yeah the only thing that confuses me is the varying sizes of fuel hoses, when i look under the hood they all seem to be the same size but that means nothing. I guess i will just go over to the parts store and see what they can tell me.
