I have a 1992 BMW 325 ic. It is the E30 chasis. I wanted to buy new rims for it, particularly 17 inch rims. I was wondering if anyone knew if the E30 can fit a 17 inch wheel with spacers. I also was wondering if anyone knew where to get custom wheels for an E30 because they have to be RWD and 4 bolt. Thank you all very much.

Sure 17's will fit an e30, go on tire rack or go to abrahamsmotorsport.com(sp?) they sell 17" Alpina kopis that fit without spacers.

17 will fit, but 16's look themost Heavenly.

iv got 17's too but they're FWD i didn't know there was a difference other then the offset but they work awsome and they rub a bit in the front if i crank the wheels all the way over but not enough to notice, i could get a 5mm spacer to fix it but im far too cheap atleast for now. ayways good luck with the wheels.

I think 17" is too big because I saw a friend of my riding an E30 320i convertible with 17"

He had big troubles when he was riding in the city, because the 17" tires didn't had space.

I think 16" will be enough, and also will be nice

its all about user prefrence i was gona get 16's but i got the 17's with rubber for cheaper then just the 16 inch wheels so i bought those instead. i would prefer 16's for performance and less rotating mass, but that will come at a later date. for right now im happy with the 17's they arn't horrible but they arn't perfect. they look good tho.

really? yeah i guess it was a bit stiffer, when i dropped on my 17's it wasn't too bad but my suspensions really stiff... just pot holes really scare me, 1 snagged me a while back but it didn't do any damage thankfully!!! and since then i havn't had any problems. but im not fussy with stiff suspension i dont mind feeling everything... and my passengers... well the can suck it up
