Fitting 6x9 in my 325i

hi i am tryin to fit in some aftermarket 6x9 in my 325i but as some of you might know the back shelf on an E30 is not that great as it has a big metal shelf underneath where your 6x9 sits, what is the best way of going around this as i have cut some off the metal off from the bottom so that the 6x9 can come through. I need to know is there a more professional way off doing this as i want to stick on a aftermarket MDF back shelf to it aswell.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Yup.

goto circuit city, and ask their stereo instalation crew for 6x9 1" height adapters. I paid like 7 $ for a pair... perfect.

i threw full components in...all i have to say is DREMEL!!!!!!! 15000 RPMS OF GRINDING FUN!! thats what i did

ummm 100% reversable...you know the carpet on there...replace it...no one will know the difference...but i would never want to reverse it...i have 2 8 in woofers 2 tweeters and 2 mids in the back and same with the front...i would NEVER replace that...anywho..ya
