OK, i found a '90 5 speed 325 Convertible for $2500 . Does anybody have any information on this car (links/personal history etc)?

car fax it fisrt, then ask about last timing belt replacement (every 50K), compresion test and make sure you can shift into all gears, specially 3rd (bad syncros)
besides that, it's a walk in the park...
you'll find not so clear rear plastic window, bad rear shock mounts, may or may not have a leaky top, get in it and tell them to hose you down.
