Actually, the main problem wasn't the stock pads so much as the fact that the brake lines expanded like oprah when you stepped on it hard.

Old musclecar trick then I suppose. Learned it from an old guy at a mustang shop here in the valley.. said he and people he raced with used to do it alot to get better feel out of their old heavy cars braking systems.
