| Hey guys, this is my first post! I just got a 1988 Black BMW 325is with 157000 miles. I got a great deal on it and it already has chip and exhaust upgrades.
The only bad thing about the car is that it is automatic.
So.... I can't drive for 3 months because of a previous ticket, so i was wondering if you all thought that it would be achievable for my dad and I to do the swap from one of the kits online for around 1000. My dad and I are pretty mechanically inclined, but not too knowlegable when it comes to big projects on cars. I know it would be easier just to buy a manual, but i got a great deal on the car. If you think we could do it, does anyone know of a writeup for the process of the swap?
And if you dont think we could do it, how much would you estimate labor costing? |
