wouldn't a faulty fuel pump be faulty regardless of engine temperature? Mechanic is saying that my car may be bogging down and sputtering under load after the engine has warmed up due to the fuel pump. My concern is that the car seems to run fine when it's cold, but then really starts bucking under load when it warms up. If the pump were bad, would it not starve the engine of fuel regardless of the engine temp? I've already replaced the plugs, wires, cap, rotor button, various vacuum lines and the idle control valve. I'm starting to see the words "money pit" written all over this car...
