fault code

So I got the fault code 1233 today and i looked it up and it is throttle wide open throttle switch. I looked up how to replace it and such so Im good on that I think, but my question is, what problems does it create? poor gas mileage? is that all? I seem to be getting very decent mileage anyway? thanks yalls.

Wink

in layman's terms...

your Throttle Position Sensor/Throttle Position Switch is faulty( or adjusted wrongly).

the pelican tech pages suggest a good step-by-step procedure to adjust your TPS, and if that doesn't work, consider replacing your TPS

Probs it creates= poor driveability(i.e. stalling, bucking... poor gas mileage... etc...)
