For a while now my tachometer, oil temperature, and mpg gauges have not been working. I was wondering if i could put on other gauges and if my bmw can have external gauges put on. Cause if it could work i would do it, but i just haven't seen anyone put one on. thnx.

if you're asking if you can put on aftermarket gauges such as autometer or vdo, then yes you can. these gauges are universal and can be put on anything.

keep in mind that the speedo is electronic, so you will need a programmable speedo for it to work in the e30. these run about 200+
i also like electric pressure an temp gauges, such as oil pressure or water temp, they are so much easier to install.

used Why not try to find a used cluster? Might be less time consuming and it would keep the car looking stock and not mess up the look of the interior.

Agreed. As long as you don't rice out your car with the worthless oversized tack bolted to your dash and the extra gauges attached to your A pillar.
