exhausts

what are some good exhausts just the muffler i know this muffler shop who will straight pipe my exhaust so i dont want the whole pipping. i like remus but when i went on there i couldnt really find what i wanted. also i know some people put megnaflow or flowmaster on their E30s i dont want it to sound like a muscle car but do want some rumble to it. i do wnat something that will give some performance too. any advise would be great thanks guys

like a nice loud i love how muscle cars sound but a bmw isnt american muscle you know. um i like loud though i had an 86 bimmer and i put a big canister on it and i liked how it sounds but i didnt want the ricer look.

i have the UUC system U on my car... and i love the setup... IMO its perfect for how i want mine but everyone has thier own opinions... i think theres a video link on thier site of how it sounds...

A standard Thrush turbo in place of the stock muffler sounds great! Not too loud, with a good throaty sound. You'll need an adpter, a strap hanger and a chrome tip (if you like) or tail pipe to keep the exhaust off your underside. If you want louder, gut or take out the resonator. Good price too, about $20. Doesn't have that import "fart" sound like those $100+ chrome coffee cans do. My little brother begged me to put one of those on my car we found in a junk yard in pa. Bad idea, I just about went tone def by the time I left the PA state border.

I have a magnaflow, I love it! Especially as cheap as I am, it was like 90 bucks. It sounds very nice. If you like a little rumble at idle, i've heard borlas are nice. Ill send you an mp3 if you wanna hear mine magnaflow

i have a giant stock sized magnaflow on mine, but i'll be switching it out to something quite different soon. magnaflow is always the brand i turn to, and now that they have unpolished stainless mufflers for 60-70 they're the best bargain out there.
