Exhaust Smoke? - BMW Forum

I have a little bit of whiteish/gray smoke coming from the tailpipe. Anything to be worried about? I'm thinking it's probably moisture.

My E30 320i smokes when it has been standing for a bit,should go away after about a 10 mile run when the exhaust has warmed up and the moisture has steamed off.

sounds like burning coolant if it does it all the time. check to see if your level is going down if so its your headgasket, and get the head checked when you take it off if your doing it yourself.

if it does it for a long time, then it is a head gasket
