exhaust for E30's

Im looking for an exhaust for my E30 325iS, I have taken a look at bavauto and they had some "mufflers" that were supposed to put out some nice power gains but they seemed cheap at $250. Now for an M3 (E46) as an example its $1k+ for the end exhaust piece. So I am looking for the best quality, priced, and performance increase exhaust system for my car. O and a nice loud and proud sound too.

It is normal for the E30 exhaust to be much cheaper than the E46 M3 exhaust. No lack in quality whatsoever with the E30 exhaust. It is just marketing. (ppl w/ E46 M3's have more money than ppl w/ E30 325's)

BUT: don't be persuaded that a cat-back exhaust gives you a huge power increase. It doesn't. Only like 1 or 2 hp actually, mostly cat-backs are for looks and sound. To get real hp gains is to replace catalytic converters with straight pipe and get long-tube headers.

good exhausts are SuperSprint, Remus, Borla, any of those brands at bavauto.

the best e30 exhausts (my opinion) are the ones from Sebring. Custom made, about 900 $, from Austria
