exhaust

yeah..i hope i don't start to annoy you guys (and gals?). suggestions on what i should do to my exhaust?

: I've looked alot and I do not find many exhausts..For my car atleast I have an '88 325e. The ones I have found were so funking expensive. A buddy of mine said just straight pipe it...I just might have to.

Ireland Engineering has an exhaust, www.bmw2002.com, its a good deep noise, nothing too loud, but supposed to be nice...very stock looking.

bav auto sells a triflow exhaust which is supposed to be good.

and then i know a few with a a magna flow muffler custom welded(most muffler shops carry them), and they actually sound really really good..
the magna will run you about 200$-300$ with install...

the triflow from bav will be a lot more pricy, and the IE exhaust is like 350 i believe..

Yea that all sounds right. Triflow runs about $700-$800, UNfortunately!

I put a triflow on mine from Bavauto, It sounds really good and noticable difference in power

i would go with enthuziast and get a straight pipe because all of the exhausts for our cars are expensive but if u were to buy an expensive exhaust i would recommend the dinan free flow exhaust its pricey around 800 but there is supposed to be a great increase in power of about 40 horses or so look it up imnot sure.

i do not mean to contradict the statement of Driftin325s, the Dinan exhaust is very good and dependable, BUT I can assure you that you will not see 40hp difference, on the dinan site, when they say 40hp, they mean with their chip, the exhaust, and either with the new intake manifold or throttle bodies, they are very sneaky with their specs so don't be deceived.

you would get maybe 10hp max from any exaust on your E30.

oh no problem i was just going by the specs of the dinan website i didnt know that they were also talking about having a chip and manifold.

yeah, they try to screw you on that, fine print all of their products. they are quality products, just the specs that they show, even for the s/c for their newer models, shows the HP with other stuff also, never just 1 product, except the chip i think
