What is a good exhaust for my 89 325iS? One that will give it a good sound, but not make it sound like some really loud rice rocket, my car already has a bit of an aftermarket sound due to new tips, and I think that the previous owner did somethin to it, but anyways..it sounds nice now, but I want it to sound a little juicer at higher rpm's, anyone wanna recommend anything?

well it depends, by the end of the summer I could have easily 1200-1300, but I obviously dont want to spend that on just exhaust. So Id like to keep it 500, becuase I want something with good quality, not quanity(sound). I want something to sound aftermarket, but I dont want it to sound crazy loud like a fuckin ricer, just a nice clean/fresh/good soundin exhaust that people wouldnt hate or think is obnoxious, sorta know what I mean?

I would go with the B&B Tri-Flow if I had the cash. I've heard a few E36's with it and it sounds very nice. Someday my friend with her E36 M3 is going to get the B&B muffler for her car.
I'm rockin a Magnaflow Muffler 2.5" pipe no cat. It sounds mean as hell. Deep. It's so sweet... and cheap cost me like $250 and I did the plumbing myself...

when peopel say exhaust, they are referring to a full cat back system, versus a muffler which is just the end part thats all nice and pretty
below iis a pic of my friends xhaust
the shiny part is the muffler, but the exhaust is full and you see the ceramic piping leading back from the exhaust all the way back to the CATalytic converter.

I am looking for a full new exhaust system inlcluding headers, because Id like to get rid of all the brown, and sorta cleanin the car up, cuz I dont wanna be pushin it hard with old parts, see what Im sayin?

ya i wanta replace the cat down... its falling appart and there are wholes and stuff through it... we are gonna prob have to replace it for the next inspection..
im looking to pay around 250-300$, a little more if need be
what should i get, and were can i get it cause i have no idea were to look?

Few of my BMW fanatic friends, were tellin me that IE makes their exhausts well, but make your car REALLY loud. So would Brullen be a good way to go? Whats your take on Supersprint and Scorpian?>
