Exaust Help

Hey guys, I have an 87 325i sedan and I need to change the rear exaust section. I wanted to go with a performance system. Just wanted to know if this is something I should consider, or if I should just stay away from this all together?

They sound really nice but need some modifications to fit properly from my experience. Sounds like an eismann exhaust IMO.

an iX will not work on a non iX car......

I called them up and they told me that it will work on my car. I am a bit skeptical though cause I drive a 3 series sedan and performance parts are usually designed for the sportier coupe. Just wanted to know if there is much of a difference in the two that would cause this system to be a problem, and to know how reputable this system is.

coupe/sedan are the same body length overall.

catback exchaust means usually that it is quiet loud btw.

I wouldn't mess with that crap...if you want a good fairly inexpensive cat-back system then go to Ireland Engineering | Racing and Performance Parts for BMW E30 and 2002 and other Cars, that is Ireland Engineering and they manufacture really well made products.

E-bay would be a no go for me personally. Bosal makes a pretty good catback for the E30. Not too loud, not too quiet. It's just right.

Call 1.800.535.2002 and talk to these guys....they are outstanding...BMWs are their lives...I seriously wish there was Mercedes place like them......but there isn't....really... call them and talk....

I would suggest just spending a little more cheese and getting a system from Turnermotorsports.com.

I was thinking about one of those ebay cat backs also. Are they REALLY loud?
