Eta To I Obc Swap

Hey guys, I was curious about swapping from the Eta OBC on my car (the boring one that is really just a glorified in dash clock) for the cool one from the i,is,ix models. I was given one of the nicer computers when I bought the car, but they don't just swap out, so what all is involved in doing the swap? Wiring harnes? Sensors? etc...

I believe there are a couple of parts to it, the front panel (which replaces your dash clock) and a computer box that does the calculations. They were available for the E series models, and those have different parameters than the I computers because of the difference in engine/performance. I believe the computer then hooks up to the dash display or SI board, but I'm not real certain about that.

I'd like one myself, all I have is the clock, and at that, it doesn't light up anymore.

Gotta love it when you stumble onto the answer when you are at work surfing the E30 websites when you SHOULD be working! LOL

That is THE definitive answer as far as I can tell!
