Hey guys i was wondering, I have a 1984 BMW with the 318i inline 4 cylinder. My question is that i have a manual transmission and a cracked block, i recently pulled a new motor from the junkyard but it was bolted up to an automatic transmission. Will my new block bolt up to my manual transmission or do i have to take the automatic? Thanks for the help guys!

As long as it is the same engine, the bolt pattern should match up with no problem.
