Can anyone help with this problem. My E30 320i 1991, will turn over but will not start, it fails to fire. On number 1 lead, there is a sensor lead which goes towards the flywheel area, part of this has melted would this be the cause. What exactly is this lead, and if not problem HELP!
Thanks for replying. I am getting a spark to my spark plugs. The engine turns but will not start. I have petrol, so do not understand why it will not run. I have changed distributor, rotor arm, spark plugs, checked idle valve control O.K. any suggestions.
There is no petrol on spark plugs, and there is not tall black relay in my fuse box, i have the Motronic system, so is it the middle relay orange?
I cannot hear the fuel pump at all, so would it be the relay or the pump.
Thanks to all replies
