AE101 is an unknown quantity at this point
I have a 1982 320i with the 1.8L and I have an engine from a '78 that's 2.0L sitting in my garage that I've been planning on building up. The 1.8 has over 200000km's, and the 2.0 has about 130000km. So I was wondering how much of a job it is to swap out the 1.8 and swap in the 2.0, do they have the same mounts? and I wanted to use the 1.8's gearbox which is 5spd manual, instead of 4spd manual... anyone have any experience on this, or know of any sites that would help me with this?

Thanks for any help,

Andre

i dont think the e30 network would have any info on this since a 78 and an 82 are not e30 cars. they are e21's.
