My 1987 325 IS has justed started to act up. I would drive the car as normal and the engine just turns off. All the other electrical devices are still on. I would be able to just restart the car immediately, but now it takes at least 3 to 4 times for it to start. I need some help.
check/replace spark plugs, cap and rotor. check/replace your air filter, fuel filter. does it idle rough? when it is started how does it rev? snappy? or does it lag and then pick up. seem to have a lack of power?

by your intake box there is 3 relays but one of them controls your spark plugs. check the connecton on them cus my jumped out when i was driving one time.
