[FONT=Times]i own an 86 325 and i am looking to rebuild the engine. i would like to completly overhaul the engine. what are some of the first steps that i should take and what upgrades should i be sure to add. Currently i have a new suspension and exhaust from the engine back. I have also installed a new intake using the exisiting Mass Air flow meter. Some of the things that i was thinking about included a larger air flow meter, forged pistons( i would like a turbo soon), bored out throttle body. are these good directions to be heading in?? any help would be great.

Ok first off unless you bought an mass air flow meter then you have an air flow meter and whatever you do dont jsut put a bigger air flow meter on your car it costs more but buying a mass air flow kit is a much safer and more productive way of gaining hp. I have a couple ideas for you but they would take to long to write out on here so if you want to know jsut post your aim name or email and ill get them to you. Goodluck
