Hey people. This is my situation. Have just finnished performing an engine swap on my 87 325is and it is running really rough, also every time I try to give it some gas the engine stuters and then soon after stops running. I have replaced all fuses/relays, Ignition coils and spark plugs and have had the high tension wires for the spark plugs tested. I have spent my whole summer working on this car and I feel very down that the thing did not just fire right up. Could be fule related? i dont know. If any one has any information or knowlege on my perdicament, it would be greatly appreciated.
well heres my rule of thumb...the 4 strokes are suck, squish, bang, blow...the important things to check and fuel compression oxygen and spark...spark is obviously good...i would check something in the line of making sure you dont have a vaccum issue and make sure shes getting fuel...other thing to consider is the timing belt/chain may be off a notch or two...seem to recal someone having that issue before..and check your timing
