1989 325 IS automatic.While driving car I heard a high pitch noise lasting only a few seconds, the red engine light came on and stayed on for a couple of miles.Drove car home and as I'm pulling into my driveway the engine light went off.I'm getting no fault codes, and the car seems to be running OK otherwise.Any help would be appreciated.
