Emergency HELP PLZ MY CLUTCH PED.

I have a 1987 325e and the problem is everytime i step on the clutch pedal all the way down it doesnt come back up. When i step on it all the way and it get stuck, i have to pick it up wit my foot so it will come back up. Does anyone know how could i fix this? is it b/c the clutch pedal is old and its been rustin or sumthin?? how come it gets stuck? what can i do to make the clutch pedal go down and up smoothly?? PLEASE tell me how to FIX IT.... THANX FO YOUR HELP!!!!!

Not sure if this is the case but on the e21's it is usually a faulty clutch slave, check that out but not for sure... just my $0.02...

there is a piston that pushes it up. Just look underneath and there is a silver rod that goes into a cylinder. This is just a pressure piston, just like the one on the hood.

your master cylinder might be bad

probalby not a master... more likely it's the slave... they're not too expensive & are DIY-able
