yeah,
i just read somewares it may have been the batteries.

the computer keeps a set of batteries and when they go bad we lose those things, try searching on replacing the silly things, and symptomes.

let us know , are you losing more dash gauages more andmore ?

nope ..alternator replaced. I'm sure it's a fuse or a wire that came loose. I was hoping you guys could tell me what color wire is the power wire for the stereo? Does anyone have a diagram for the fuse box? Mine doesn't have what anything is listed on it.

fuses completely depend on your car.

for mine the fuel pump = 11

and just check every fuse.

it may be a good time to go out and invest 3dollars in 25 spares .

also check all the wires around your new alt, maybe the belt was too tight? and you blew up the brushes or something.?

use or barrow a ohm-meter and track down continuity. that will keep you from tearing apart things that are okay.

maybe even hit that same bump again ( only in reverse)./

good luck and let us know if you smell elect. smoke.

buy or barrow a fire extinguisher for a while too...

BELIEVE it or not theres at least 2 wires that probide power to the stereo.

!. red useally powers the swithced on (with keys turned one click)
2. yellow useally powers the constant on. (for the clock and settings)
3 than Blue is for the power antennea or amplifier to turn on
