I have seen numerous times, an e30 for sale listed as a 1992.

Now I know BMW manufactured some e36 cars in 1991 (as a 1992 model), but did they make the e30 in 1991 as a 1992 model year as well, or are these ads just printed by ignorant morons?

not all of them, I've seen at least three listed as such, and this is why I now wonder if there is truth to this, or there are at least three morons trying to sell a late model e30.

The M3 may have been produced a little past the other cars in the generation. I know that's the case for the E36, but I don't recall if the E30 had the same thing.

convertibles were made until 92-93 (i dont think you'll see any 1993 cabrios though), 325is' were made till 1990, and everything else was made until 1991. the groupe A E30 M3's were made through 1993, but you wont see any of these on the roads

i dont know if it was just groupeA cars, but they manufactured race versions until then. groupeA was the DTM touring version i believe
