E30 Stalls out in gear...

Hey guys just replaced the starter in my 86 325e... Well I'm very happy with the new starter it gets my car up and running every time! But now after going on it's first run after the starter fix the car will fall on it's self as soon as the clutch is released. The car will rev up fine then it will die when the clutch engages completely. This is also intermittent so the car will drive fine then the car will just stop accelerating, the motor will die and stall then I push the clutch in and then the car will idle but refuse to do anything else... Not to impressed for it ran fine before I replaced the starter. I had to remove the Mass air flow meter the plumbing hooked to it, plus the air box and the throttle body and all the plumbing hooked to that to get the damn starter out...(Write up coming soon)

Maybe you need to look at how all those intake parts came back together.

The problem is fixed!

I did as you recommended and did a double check on my intake plenum and vacuum lines. I found 3 significant leaks caused by rotted vacuum lines. Replaced the lines and the car runs great now!
