Have just bought a 1989 , 316i to do up as a project. It has a (supposed ) genuine 84,000 on the clock. It has just passed an mot with no problems, although it is having the clutch master cylinder replaced today. It is finished in delphen grey metallic, and apart from a few spots of rust and a new offside front wing the body is in pretty good nick. The interior is clean apart from ripped bases on the drivers and rear seats.
I intend to do the bodywork and rust myself, (having taken off a scrap wing i now know how to put one back on again}, but i am unsure as to weather or not i would make a profit should i decide to sell when job is finished ???
