E30 Progress

This is my official thread to document the progress of my 1991 318is. Feel free to give your thoughts, ideas, recommendations, good or bad.

Here are pics of the car as it was when i first bought it.

I began repainting the exterior trim black. Here are some before and after pics.

What is that there in the background of the last pic, being ignored!!! is that the e36???
only kidding...... little by little you will have that e30 looking good.....

oohhhhh SNAP!!!! it IS!!! at the moment, the E36 is not being ignored, it is actually pissing me off. I cannot find out what is up with that clunking, i had the whole rear end apart last night... but that is another conversation in another thread.

no, i haven't, could that cause clanking as i go over bumps?

yep, happend to me and found out the bad way what it was. Handbrake locking your wheels on the highway going 130k isnt a fun way to find out.

if you dont use your e-brake just remove it completely to prevent such incidents.

I was thinking of bidding on them, but it looks like you could use these fog lights more than me. Auction ends in less than 4 hours. Don't know if you could get a better set or a cheaper set locally.

aaaahh!!! i got here too late!!! bidding was ended. But yeah i do need some fog lights and brackets for sure.
