E30 Manuals & price quotes for parts

Hey there. I'm a newby in this forum and have a few Q if anyone can help or direct me into the right direction.

I own a '91 325i Automatic and there are a few things that I need to have replaced on the car. The two important ones are the rack & pinion and the water pump. My question would be is #1, what brand name should I look for as far as service manuals? Bently make for BMW? #2, where should I look for reliable used parts such as this that I am needing to repair? #3, what should I be paying for on a used rack & pinion and a water pump?

Please advise if at all possible. I am so use to working on VWs and on Bimmers but want to start as soon as possible. Thanks!!
