E30 m50 tranny ????????

Hey everyone this is my first time here so im trying to get help swapping m50 in to a 85 318i i know is the m50 engine but theres a lot of tranny people use they toll me that the best way to go was with the 1990 318is tranny that it could hold up to 600 hp what do you guys think ?

Also if u have any other tranny set up help me please??????

just use the E36 getrag...the M50 getrag...you can get them for $200-$300

which shifter u use when using the m50 tranny?
and the driveshaft did you get one made?
also which differential did u use?

I found a e36 engine with tranny,driveshaft and wiring harness for $450
Just need to know what need to do to the tranny to fit??
