used Does any1 know if the leather interior from the e36 would fit in the e30?

No. Someone posted on another forum - the seat bases are too wide and will not fit.

front seats of e36 will fit with slight modification. It has already been done.

Yup, if you know how to cut, drill, and weld, then you shouldn't have a problem fabricating some modified mounting points.

i went backwards.....i put my e30 Recaros in my e36. the brackets are way different and i had to make pieces to extend the seat mounts out and longer. its doable, but the fittment has to be perfect. do a cardboard mock-up to see if it fits before u fabricate.
