E30, how long would you say they last

u think its worth buying a 89-91 e30 with 150 000km, because i know it should probably run but its like a 15year old car almost, do you think it would last till even 200 000km?

mine has 335xxxk on it, i have seen E30's with over 500 000k, 150 is pretty good

A buddy of mine has one with 345,000 MILES!! Still drives it about 150 miles a day! runs great!

if your willing to shell out the money required to maintain it (1-2k a year), then yes. of course, the harder you drive it the faster parts wear out.

Mine has 180xxx miles not km and it runs awsome!! 0-60 in 6.24(zoom-zoom). But I do take pretty good care of it. Just do all of the matienince at the propper time and you will be just fine. P.S. Friend of mine has his 88 3.18 with 386xxxmi. still drives like a Bimmer should...great!

My 1991 318is has 198,xxx miles and i have had no problems with it other than giving it costly tune ups every 5,000 miles and synthetic oil change every 3000, nothing major. My mechanic is so surprised that a 19yr old(me) maintains the car and keeps it in excellent running condition. Most of his young customers beat the shiet out of their cars before they bring it to him.

Allthough I'm new to BMW's, every machanic I've talked to has said the same thing..."125K....thats nothing". Mine has that many miles on the bottom end.
