HAS ANYBODY DONE THIS CONVERSION?I HAVE AN 89 325I AND AN 88M5 DONER CAR.I AM GUESSING I HAVE TO USE THE TRANS OUT OF THE M5 ALSO?ANY HELP ON THIS MATTER WOULD BE AWESOME.

My advise is to talk to a BADA$$ BMW shop for all the details.

its a crazy cool idea....but you will be getting into way more trouble than you can possibly imagine if you are a weekend mechanic! there is nothing even remotely easy about this swap!!!! and its gonna cots you $$$$$. if ur not very experienced....and i mean VERY....have someone else do it.

that is all.
