Hi, i was wondering if anyone knows what is causing my engine to stall out during a left turn while the gas is on. I have a 1987 E30 2.5L 6. Thanks in advance. Hank

usally if its more then an 1/8th of a turn it will cut off, and recently it doesnt need to accelerate to cut off.

this is probably a problem of the fuel tank. In some european cars, as Renautl Clio, have this problem. Tha differents straight lines that the fuel has on his bottom could be broken. Clean your fuel tank dissambled and pay atention on the bottom or the differents compartiments that it has.
If it sputters then dies it's a fuel problem. But if it dies like you turned the key off and doesn't sputter I suspect an eletrical problem. My E30 had that sort of problem, it just completly die like I turned the car off. I installed a new DME relay, aka main relay and haven't had a problem since. This is a cheep part and if it doesn't fix your problem you probably won't ever need to replace that relay again since the one in my car was orignial from '88 so they last a long time. Also check the wires that go into your 2 fuel pump relays and main relay, one my be loose. This is how I found my main relay to be bad. While the car was running I tapped on the relays, everytime I tapped the main relay the car died.
