E30 DIY Heat Shield

does anyone know how to make a heat shield? reason why is that i swap to the m30 afm and i have a cone filter.

the M30 AFM and air filter will net you about 5 - 6 whp...its not worth it, just use the stock stuff and run a K&N panel filter

if you have already done it, and are stuck with it just get some sheet aluminum and some cutting sheers and make one...should be pretty easy

Ive gone down this dark path and may never return. LOL

I built one out of shetmetal, tin snips, pipe insulation, $40 at Home Depot
still need to get some sheet insulation
just make a good cardboard mock up first
copy signature motorings design, two pieces
