| I've got an OEM windscreen for my 1992 E30 Cabriolet. Where the unit
is hinged, two screw heads project slightly from the side. Over,
time they have damaged the vinyl trim on the side panels. I tried
covering the screws but then the unit is too wide to fit. Is anyone else
experiencing this problem, and do you have a fix? Maybe my side
panels are just too thick and cause such a tight fit. I've
inspected the screen closely and there is no way of narropwing it.
Also, the screws are proprietary so I just can't replace it with any
flathead screw. Open to any suggestions. |
