I currently have a e30 325 e but i am looking for an e30 325i. And i have been looking at the numbes and stock it is around 170 hp and i was wondering with a chip free flow exhaust, and inatke if it would raise the hp to around 200 and if there is some other mods that will get it there that are fairly reasonable.

interestingly, after looking at dyno curves of some aftermarket chips that are available, performance chips dont actually raise your max hp by more then 3-4 hp.

They create a maximum gain of 9-20 hp, but that is down where the hp is lower, not your peak hp. Chipped, the m20 only makes like 175hp. Just the lower rev range hp curve is higher.

And interestingly, k&n filters lose about 5 hp if you dont use a heat shield. This is the result of actual dyno testing.
