im sorry if this has been beat to death.... but today gas got up to 2.40 here in MN. im looking at either a 325is or a 318is and am wondering what people get on average with each vehcle.

325 don't spend so much if the ignition timing is absoloutely correct, although the 318 has lack of power comparing to the weight of the car. both have good mileage, but if you know how to calculate this:

Out on the open road:
318i = 10-11l/100km
325i = 9-11l/100km

Within city limits:
318i = 12-14l/100km
325i = 14-15l/100km

so they are pretty similar, i'd go with the 325, since more power.. i'd sacrifice a little gas for a lot of power
