I am curious if anyone else is having this problem: I have an E21 BMW and the cigarette lighter no longer works. Is this generally a problem with the male or female part of the lighter? I just would like to know what part to replace.
I have a similar problem... Removed my console to find that the connection had snapped off. So it will need a replacement...
Get in there and have a look.
